We are looking for a Senior Application Manager to join our Payer & Government Solutions division in Dortmund, which has around 170 employees. For our customers in the healthcare and government sectors, we develop software for the digitization of business processes, from architecture to implementation. We use standard technologies but also keep an eye on new developments.

With us, you will work in the dynamic environment of an IT company with current technologies and IT systems.

Your tasks:

  • Responsibility for our software components in the operating environments of our customers.
  • Installation, technical support, and configuration of our software products.
  • Independent analysis of support requests and change requests of varying urgency and complexity.
  • Maintenance of software product releases.
  • Analysis and optimization of existing products and processes together with process owners.
  • Close exchange with service managers, software developers, and project managers.
  • Ensuring agreed SLAs for multiple system landscapes.
  • Documentation of implemented solutions and processes.
  • Management of external service providers/customers and coordination of internal interfaces.
  • Management, control, and technical support of the Application Manager expert group.

Your profile:

  • Completed studies, training, or comparable qualification with an IT background.
  • Good knowledge of at least one of the operating systems. (Windows / Linux)
  • SQL knowledge and experience with databases. (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
  • Sense of responsibility and a structured, service-oriented way of working.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Strong ability to communicate with target groups.
  • Good and secure German language skills, both written and spoken.

Nice-to-have experience:

  • In application support or support.
  • With application servers. (e.g., Tomcat, Wildfly)
  • In dealing with Jira and Confluence.
