Tell us a bit about yourself

I have a bachelor’s degree in medical management and a master’s in public health. I live outside Frankfurt, Germany, where I like the peace and greenery, but also the proximity to the city. In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym and spending time outside with my dog.

WHAT IS YOUR ROLE AT IQVIA?

Since June 2023, I have been working as a Client Services Representative, also known as a Business Insights Analyst, on IQVIA’s Consumer Health team. Our team supports pharmaceutical customers with sales data, tracking solutions and market analysis for the non-prescription medicines and medical devices they sell to pharmacies across Germany. I work to set up their databases, specialized studies, and am available to answer data and database functionality questions.

DESCRIBE YOUR PATH TO IQVIA

During my studies, I gained knowledge of both the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, and became intrigued by the innovativeness and financial investment required to make improvements to patient health. When I stumbled upon IQVIA, enthusiastically clicking through the career site, I was amazed at the breadth of jobs available. I landed an “Innovation and Information Offerings Working Student” opportunity in June 2022 which offered professional experience while I continued my university studies.

In the role, I updated product presentations, performed research for new launches and kept up to date on legislation changes. The role taught me a lot about pharmaceutical sector, industry trends and IQVIA's many offerings and databases – the perfect introduction to the company and industry.

When the position ended, it was clear I wanted to stay at IQVIA. Through conversations with leadership, human resources and my peers, I identified internal opportunities and ultimately, landed the Client Services Representative - Consumer Health role.

When working in Client Services at IQVIA, I think you should have the following skills and qualities:

• Customer Focus: We put our customers at the center of what we do so you should enjoy communicating with them and having fun presenting results.
Analytical skills: You should have an affinity for numbers and enjoy working with large data sets.
Pharmaceutical industry knowledge: You should be enthusiastic about the pharmaceutical industry and medical products and enjoy learning new things to support these areas.
Team player: Customer inquiries are often complex. Being a team player enables us to lean on one another and exchange key knowledge and diverse skills here.
