Leadership training programs at IQVIA

To support this, we offer a wide variety of development programs, including both self-directed and live tutor-led webinars to ensure that future and emerging leaders have the knowledge, skills and tools to successfully shape their career.

Here are five leadership programs available at IQVIA:

1. Future Leader Program 

Our Future Leader Program is geared towards individuals with high potential to become great leaders within our organization. It stands out for its innovative challenge, which encourages participants to rethink conventional methods and present their ideas to senior executives for sponsorship and investment.

Examples of sponsored projects include:

An automated linguist quality feedback solution to ensure consistent quality from our 2,000+ linguists.

Using natural language processing (NLP) and generative AI to transform insights into healthcare practices.

2. Emerging Leader Program 

The Emerging Leader Program is designed for high-potential employees at the managerial level. It’s filled with training sessions to shape future leaders and offers mentorship opportunities from Future Leader Program alumni, creating a chain of leadership development within the organization.

3. New Manager Program 

IQVIA’s New Manger Program was launched to support those who are new to managing people or experienced managers but new to IQVIA. It is a guided learning pathway designed to navigate available resources and prioritize tools, ensuring that managers feel supported and equipped to lead their talented team members.

4. Research & Development Solutions General Management Acceleration Program

The R&DS General Management Acceleration Program is ideal for a mid-career, individual contributor working in R&DS who is interested in becoming manager at some point in their career. This year-long program builds leadership capabilities through training, immersive sessions, project work, and mentoring.

5. Real World Solutions Job Shadowing Program

And lastly, the Real World Solutions Job Shadowing Program is a week-long program enabling participants to shadow a peer, helping them expand their internal network, learn about different business areas, identify alternative career opportunities, and increase their visibility within IQVIA.
