Job Summary:

  • Ensure that vendor master data is accurate when new vendors are added to financial systems or existing vendor is modified, and supporting documentation is obtained.
  • Identify process improvements for vendor data entry to ensure accuracy and completeness of data and maintenance of supporting documentation.
  • Assist in projects for vendor data including data cleansing, testing of vendor system enhancements, and other projects as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of effective process documentation to accurately describe how financial systems master data is maintained and operated.
  • Assist in the testing and updating of back-up provisions in conjunction with IT and BCP requirements.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
  • Review and update vendor data, identifying and resolving data discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve data accuracy.
  • Update and maintain vendor data in financial systems.
  • Provide recommendations for improving data quality and process efficiency.
  • Conduct data analysis to support business decisions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data management policies and procedures.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support data-related initiatives.
  • Typical day may include reviewing and updating vendor data, identifying and resolving data discrepancies, and collaborating with team members to improve data accuracy.
  • This is a full-time position with Monday through Friday working hours, occasional overtime may be required during busy periods.

Personality requirements and skills :

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 0-2 years financial analysis exp required
  • Equivalent combo of edu, training & exp required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office apps required
  • Well-developed analytical & numeracy skills
  • Ability to identify & mitigate financial issues
  • Ability to prioritize & meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to establish & maintain relationships
