PURPOSE:

▪ Provide education in proper administration, dosage, side effect management, nuances to the product and basic disease state education to HCP-referred patients and their caregivers

EDUCATION:

▪ RN Certification Required

▪ Bachelor’s Degree Required

REQUIREMENTS & Preferred Experience:

• Minimum 1-year clinical experience as a nurse/nurse educator

• Teaching/training experience recommended

• Current nursing license in good standing

• Possess a valid driver’s license preferred

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

▪ Demonstrates proficiency in the following:

o Written and verbal communication skills

o Presentation skills: formal and informal to small groups

▪ Able to:

o Travel to meet the needs of the geographical territory

o Assimilate and learn new information quickly

o Adapt to a variety of clinical settings: HCPs office or patient visit

▪ An ideal candidate is:

o Able to function independently with minimal day-to-day supervision and oversight

o Enthusiastic, projects a positive attitude, and easily adapts to change

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct training with patients in HCPs office/home environment

• Work with customer sales in introducing PSP program/service available for their patients

• Collaborates with the project leader and customer in developing and implementing business

goals, objectives, and marketing strategies

ADDITIONAL EXPECTATIONS:

▪ Under guidance of the Project Leader/Manager, collaborates with customer in the development

of educational resources

▪ Completes all reports and written assignments in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner

TIME ALLOCATION:

• Allocates time and prioritizes accounts in territory in collaboration with Customer

• Spends approximately 50-70% of time in the field, 30-50% of time on administrative work

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

▪ Frequent travel via automobile, train and/or plane
