We are recruiting professionals with a native/bilingual level of German to join our Data Quality Control Team.

Under close guidance or supervision, updates and analyses less complicated databases ensuring that data is correct.

Essential Functions


• Develops an understanding of the technical knowledge to needed to update databases.
• For less complicated databases: Reviews unprojected data that was successfully bridged to ensure that trends are accurate for a particular product, outlet, manufacturer, etc. when compared to a previous time period.
• Monitors trends in supplier’s data submission (volume, completeness, etc.) and investigates any apparent anomalies.
• Makes changes to the unprojected data as required.
• Updates / maintains universe and sample files as needed. Edits and corrects projected data (as required).
• Reviews trends to identify any apparent anomalies in the projected data.
• Researches suspected problems.
• Proposes required changes to the data if necessary.
• Updates the transaction database by replacing the last cycle’s data with the newly received and processed data.
• Ensures the appropriate timing of the database updates.
• Updates the history file(s), applying corrections to historical data as necessary.
• Ensures the appropriate timing of the database updates.

Qualifications

• Proficient in proof reading and editing in German language.

• Capability to work remotely with peers in an international environment

• Ability to research, analyze and extrapolate critical information.

• Effective communicator - - both written and oral.
• Strong PC literacy skills including Word, Excel and Access.
• Ability to carry out some analysis and information gathering to resolve problems on non-routine matters.

• Attention to details and organization capability.
