We are excited to announce that in partnership with our client, Pierre Fabre USA, we are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our team.  The Regional Sales Manager will lead and inspire a field-based sales team to meet & exceed business goals. This is accomplished by leveraging available market data along with promotional resources, effective coaching and mentoring of individual sales representative to align with our client expectations.

A Qualified Candidate for Regional Sales Manager shall meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • 4-year college degree required.
  • 2-3 years+ pharmaceutical field sales management experience required.
  • Dermatology or skincare experience preferred.
  • 3 years detailing of OTC products or pharmaceutical sales to healthcare providers preferred
  • Results-focused
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets or detailing.
  • Keen analytical sense and ability to understand financial concepts.
  • Excellent selling and presentation skills.
  • Strong Business Acumen
  • Ability to self-manage and work autonomously.
  • Strong organizational and strategic planning skills.
  • Strong scientific technical/clinical aptitude and background.
  • Develop and build long-term business relationships with healthcare providers.
  • Ability to lift & carry 20 lbs. required.
  • Travel required.

Role Expectations include the following:

  • Recruit, interview and select Dermatology Sales Representatives
  • Handle performance reviews, personnel issues, discipline and termination of Dermatology Sales Representatives.
  • Regional Sales Managers shall make regular field visits: to develop and motivate Dermatology Sales Representatives for attainment of sales objectives (i.e. HCP recommendations goals); to assess and monitor field activity and work schedules; to monitor and manage field reporting by Dermatology Sales Representatives, including call reporting, and sample reporting (when applicable).
  • Communicate with Client & Dermatology Sales Reps on regular and timely basis.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of training and periodic sales meetings.
  • Review and approve expense reports; monitor compliance with expense policies.
  • Monitor compliance with Promotional Program, and proper use of Promotional Materials and Promotional Expense Budgets.
  • Monitor compliance with PDMA and sample accountability procedures, when applicable
  • Monitor time-keeping and attendance.

The potential base pay range for this role is $135-145,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
