IQVIA has an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Account Manager to work across North East England including Lancashire within Rheumatology and Gastroenterology.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can quickly forge relationships in the Rheumatology and Gastroenterology world.  They will be able to access payers and have strong account management, business acumen and leadership skills – this is a promotional role defining strategy for key accounts, and getting patients access across a number of different indications.
Role Purpose:
Drive commercial success through the management of selected accounts, segmented in accordance with the principles of effective account management.

Develop, monitor & evolve account business plan based on local insights and those gained from Key Accounts and alignment to commercial objectives

Develop & manage relationships with key departmental customers within selected accounts

Position our client as partner of choice in aligned disease/patient management initiatives, seeking out, securing and delivering collaborative programmes to deliver
win: win outcomes

Identify opportunities to co-tailor regional programmes and solutions in conjunction with relevant Country Brand leads based on account and customer knowledge

Direct the deployment of resources within the selected accounts

Required Skills and Experience
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Account management expertise
Demonstrable ability to build credible relationships with prescribers and non-prescribers
Strong negotiation and selling skills
Commercial and financial awareness with strong IT skills
Planning and Project management
Industry knowledge (NHS and Pharma) Specialist Network/CCG/customer knowledge
Ability to Influence without line authority
ABPI Qualified
Full UK Driving licence (no more than 6 points)
Full eligibility to work in the UK
