Software Engineer 1

This position helps to maintain a front-line availability of support development for the IQVIA Legacy Polaris product line for our US clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain IQVIA Legacy Polaris’ core software products, including base solutions, web services and interfaces with a focus on high quality, configurable, and easy to launch applications
  • Implement and deploy IQVIA Legacy Polaris’ core software products for clients, including unique customizations, configurations, and data requirements
  • Deconstruct or reverse engineer exiting code to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions
  • Analyze existing solutions to provide recommendations on improvements
  • Drive development to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget and on scope
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain suitable coding standards
  • Contribute to project effort estimations
  • Review project requirements and provide feedback to project managers
  • Write, edit and maintain technical documentation
  • Communicate effectively on a technical level with other IT departments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science or related preferred) or equivalent experience within software development
  • Experience with C#, Javascript, SQL, and ASP.NET
  • Ability to work onsite in New Brunswick, NJ
