As a Scum Master / Sr. IT PM with IQVIA you will be responsible for the following:

•Guide the development team and Product Owner on Agile scrum practices and values.

•Guide the development team on how to get the most of out of self-organization and strive to develop teams into high performing teams.

•Work with Product Owner on establishing sprint goals and Development team on timelines committed to the Business.

•Remove impediments or guide the Development Team to remove impediments through communication and transparency of impediments.

•Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution within the team.

•Provide regular status on the project progress and execution to project manager.

•Submit detailed reports that convey essential information about the health, status, risks, and impacts of projects.

•Highlight areas of risk and concerns, judge impacts, and offer solutions and alternatives.

•Escalate project and process roadblocks, risks, and constraints.

•Retrospectively evaluate results and determine lessons learned to continuously improve them.

•Support and educate the Product Manager, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.

•Manages all assigned projects to completion ensuring on-time delivery, meeting of budgetary demands, and maintaining overall project ownership.

•Lead teams and drive solutions that provide business value.

•Acts as a single point of contact for project status. Maintains communication with project stakeholders and senior management.  Sets and meets commercial expectations.

•Addresses problems through risk management and contingency planning and presents solutions and/or options to management. Ensures effective implementation of solutions/changes.

•Has good understanding of  Agile scrum framework, tools and techniques. Recommends new process and tools to improve agile implementation.

•Understands organizational technical policies and establishes goals for project teams which develop business applications and information services products.

•Establishing processes and techniques that establish/safeguard technical quality.

•Flexible and works with global cross functional teams as needed.

•Has prior experience working with offshore teams.

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent

•Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT projects

•Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management

•3+ years’ experience managing large/complex projects

•Experience working in a Scrum Master role

•Knowledgeable with agile methodology and successful agile techniques such as User Stories, continuous integration, agile estimation, etc.

•Ability to understand backlog tracking, burn down metrics, velocity, and task definition

•PMP and/or Scrum master certification a plus.

•Experience managing large Data ware house implementation/ Big data technologies would be a plus.

•Must be able to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment

•Detail oriented and able to coordinate work streams for on-time, on-budget delivery while ensuring project details are accounted for and acted upon

•Able to provide excellent verbal and written communication between customer, manager and project team members in a matrix-managed environment

•Able to work within deadlines, ensuring both timely, cost-effective delivery and customer satisfaction

•Effective meeting facilitation and presentation skills
