Job Description

Objective:  Role would be responsible for the utilization of financial systems and reports to develop analyses to represent performance reporting, forecasts and pricing for the US information business.  Position would be responsible for managing strategic financial projects pertaining to the Information CoE.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing regular product level pricing/discounting analyses for each product to information management team and product managers to inform pricing strategies.
  • Responsible for the maintenance, utility and governance of all pricing models and calculators including user experience.
  • In conjunction with sales and finance, responsible for maintaining accurate list of sales drivers with financial impact across information line; produce analysis for current year and for prospective budget year.
  • Responsible for coordinating annual product revenue budget process for information products
  • Responsible for maintaining pricing documentation and policy; coordinates changes for product managers, management team, finance, and other key stakeholders
  • Responsible for maintaining marketplace demand feedback from sales and suggest strategic inputs into pricing model accordingly
  • Responsible for driving annual global pricing proposal for US information products.
  • Responsible for the organization and direction of the USBU discounting governance and approval structures.
  • Responsible for maintaining, modifying, and certifying all information product calculators used by finance (commercial lead in development of future integrated or new pricing systems if applicable)
  • Produces ad-hoc financial requests in support of operating reviews, service line reviews or other critical strategic events.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Mathematics, Finance, or other related 4 year degree
  • Expert in MS Excel; Proficient in other MS Office Suite Applications
  • 3-5 years experience providing financial analysis support in a business setting
  • Hyperion experience is a plus, but not required
