Job Description

Role Purpose:

Supports the development and implementation of thought leadership content and strategy used globally to support the corporate positioning of IQVIA. Analyzes trends in the pharmaceutical industry to present to internal and external clients.  Responsible for delivery across a range projects and clients. Acts in the capacity of Technical, Project Management and/or as Business Analysis resource, with specific focus on advanced data analytics.

Principle Acountabilities:

  • Supports the development and implementation of thought leadership content and strategy used globally to support the corporate positioning of IQVIA.
  • Analyzes industry trends as they relate to key market segments (large pharma, mid-size, generics), therapy area or disease segments, and analysis that measures company activities such as sales, promotion, payer/regulator interactions.
  • Utilizes the full breadth of IQVIA’s data analytics and consulting capabilities to produce consistent and insightful analysis on the industry.
  • Manages project teams. Develops cost estimates, solution definition, proposal and client negotiations, with limited senior management input.
  • Develops project plan and leads project to successful completion with little senior management guidance. 
  • Provides high level input to, and ensures the development of reports and presentations and able to deliver all or significant portions of findings to sponsors or clients. 
  • Identifies innovative ways of delivering technology/service based solutions to meet client challenges in the pharmaceutical/healthcare/life sciences industry.
  • Proactively continues to strengthen their own subject matter expertise, as well as that of the team.
  • Supports the development of analytics and presentation-ready content for client presentations
  • Prepares information for client and industry presentations.

Required Knowledge.skills and abilities:

  • Has broad knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry.
  • In-depth understanding of IMS data assets and core offerings. 
  • Possesses high level of computer literacy and internet research capabilities. 
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills. 
  • Strong technical skills, time management skills, interpersonal skills, and strong project management skills is a must.
  • Strong communication and listening skills are required.  

Education:

  • Bachelors degree plus a minimum of seven (7) years of related work experience. 
  • Thorough knowledge of IMS HEALTH products and pharmaceutical industry is required.
