  • Accountable for delivery of projects for the R&DS IT Portfolio. Will align with the respective demand organization for project scoping, feasibility, estimation, gate reviews and delivery of the final project.
  • Accountable for project(s) governance and ensuring quality and timely delivery to the business.
  • Accountable for identifying skill sets needed for project implementation in collaboration with the demand function.
  • Accountable for liaising with the resource management team to obtain resources with the requisite skill sets for project implementation.
  • Accountable for managing any delivery related escalations.
  • Accountable for preservation and enhancement of product/business-line specific domain knowledge.
  • Responsible for people management of the project team including Delivery Project Managers, Architects, Business Analyst, System/Data Analysts, Engineers, & Testers
  • Provide necessary inputs for R&DS IT organizational and program level Technology Strategy.

Skills Required:

  • Deep knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle & Agile Principles
  • In-depth understanding of Software Engineering principles
  • Hands-on experience of running large delivery projects in a global industrialized software delivery environment (SAFe / CMMI Level 3 or higher). 
  • Strong Application Development Background
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including good command of English language
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to lead a virtual team in a matrix structure
  • Innovative and strategic thinking capability
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and stakeholders.
