For our Real World Evidence Team in Milan, we are looking for a Senior Consultant in Health Economics and Outcome Research.

Open Position Description

The candidate will join our Real World Evidence team and will be involved in development and delivery of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) studies and analyses.

Responsibilities

  • Statistical modeling, protocol development for Observational Retrospective Studies
  • Perform statistical analysis on IQVIA proprietary and third-party data and communicate results through scientific publications and posters
  • Coordinate projects activities, managing milestones and quality, and deliver presentations to clients
  • Organize the work of junior team members and ensure quality controls on projects
  • Support performance evaluation and competency development of junior resources
  • Support the scouting and sourcing of patient data from third parties (e.g. admin claims from LHUS and Regions)

Requirements

  • MSc degree in Statistics or Biostatistics with strong record of academic achievement
  • At least 6-year work experience in the health economics and outcome research field
  • Complete understanding of the HEOR methods, drug life cycle and Italian health care system
  • Strong business skills/acumen; translation of scientific expertise and knowledge to achieve the identified business goals of the company
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written Excellent knowledge of statistical software (SAS, Stata, R etc.) with HEOR applications
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills: strong skills in working with Excel spreadsheets and creating presentations with Power Point
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in English, both oral and written
  • Keenness to learn and commitment to a rapid development curve
  • Affinity for a collaborative, team-oriented environment and approach
  • Experience in Health Economics analyses (e.g. budget impact analyses, cost effectiveness analyses) will be considered as a plus
