Job Responsibilities

Provide line and functional management of Data Management technical experts, with a team size of around 15-20 people.

Manage and prioritize resource assignments, as well as workload management across Technical Design and SAS Programming teams ensuring project milestones are met according to agreed timelines with high quality. 

Monitor and manage utilization and productivity of the functional department, assist Associate Director and Director in defining recruiting strategies and staffing needs based on backlog. 
Supported by the technical subject matter experts, serve as the main point of contact for project escalations related to the functional department.  

Monitor quality and efficiencies across projects to identify trends and opportunities for improvements, ensuring learnings are shared across projects. 
Participate in defining new processes and modifying existing KPI processes and adoption of new technology. 

Ensure staff are trained and compliant with current operating procedures and work instructions as well as project scope of work. 

Manage staff in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable regulations.

Qualification

Knowledge/Qualification in CDISC/CDASH as well as SAS, C++, XML, Python.

Bachelor’s degree, or educational equivalence, in clinical, biological or mathematical sciences or related field, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience including people management; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
