Overview:

As a consultant to the IQVIA Analytics Solutions Team, you will lead strategic efforts with senior executives, brand teams, finance and others to develop global forecasts for the pharmaceutical industry.

The job: Consultant – On Site Deployment

You will actively participate in the development, delivery and management of projects focused on marketing and sales analysis, including forecasting and consulting projects by:

  • Analyzing secondary data and market research to identify key findings and trends.
  • Conducting quantitative or qualitative analysis to support customer deliveries and business decisions related to data.
  • Assisting in the delivery of the various components of the project as senior support and monitor the quality of the final delivery.
  • Developing presentations for clients and attend meetings to analyze and advise on solutions.
  • Managing projects and workflows, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Developing detailed specifications and documentation, including business process documentation, point of purchase (POPs), customer data scorecards.
  • Handling promotional and sales data, market assessment and epidemiology, pipeline analysis and market research.
  • Mastering the various related consultancy methodologies and the pharmaceutical market, through the delivery of consultancy commitments and participation in formal and informal learning opportunities.
  • Having the ability to interact with the various teams, external and internal, to ensure the smooth functioning of teamwork.

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy on-site involvement anywhere in Europe, depending on business demands.

All assignments involve presence on-site at the customer's locations.

  • Manage projects and workflows independently.
  • Lead projects and initiatives with indirect supervision of analysts and communication with clients.
  • Analyze secondary data and table market research (quantitative and qualitative) to identify key findings and trends, and to support customer problems and results.
  • Able to work with Market Assessment and Epidemiology, Pipeline Analysis and Market Research, Forecasting Inline and Pipeline with senior support.
  • Create presentations independently for customers; participate, support and be present at client meetings, independently.
  • Work effectively with others inside and outside the organization to achieve the team goals, internally and externally.
  • Conduct extensive research to create a detailed forecasting methodology for the forecast / business problem provided.
  • Carry out market analysis, to include details on market characteristics (size and growth of the market, prescriptions, days of therapy, types of patients, market share, number of competitors, market trends, market attractiveness); competitors 'characteristics (product characteristics, competitors' marketing strategies, sales force activities, price analysis); prescribing characteristics (number of prescribers by specialty, medical prescription activity, unmet wishes and needs) that may be relevant to support predictions
  • Integrate qualitative and quantitative data and present forecast results in a structured manner; bring value-added insights to customers

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • An Undergraduate or Masters Degree, with previous relevant health experience, an avid interest in health data and analysis and an understanding of local health markets.
  • Exposure and experience in statistics and consulting - demonstrative analysis, interpretation and problem-solving skills, working with large and multiple data sets to process data in the format required for analysis.
  • Fluency in essential, written and verbal English and any other European language (German or French as a priority), well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including presentations, leadership meetings, business and reports.
  • Advanced user in MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint, and skills in SAS, Oracle SQL, R Programming and Excel VBA would be beneficial
  • Previous experience may include: work experience in any of the following: forecasting, statistics, predictive modelling, core market research, technology and applications, sales force effectiveness, sales operations, business intelligence, epidemiology, HEOR, data mining, data governance, healthcare IT market research, marketing analysis, multichannel marketing, consumer marketing, branding ,managed markets, management consulting, outsourcing, offshoring, web analytics, development data and programming and Google Analytics.
  • Previous experience in health data is desirable, including data from doctors, patients and epidemiology.
  • Knowledge, experience and understanding of the fundamental processes and key issues of the pharmaceutical business and health sectors, their interaction and the impact of external / internal influences on decision making, growth and decline.
  • Ability to track POPs, processes and effective documentation of project-related work.
  • Knowledge of consultancy methodologies, tools and techniques.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of business principles in sales and marketing.
  • Knowledge of professional / commercial associations, key people and companies.
  • Effective communication, project management and time management skills.
  • Strong ability to manage priorities so that deadlines are met, maintaining consistent, high-quality results.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Availability and ability to travel - 80% of the time.
