This Data Analyst role at IQVIA is tailored for professionals specialising in medical data. As part of the Operational team supporting IQVIA’s Real World Insight (RWI), you will manage data, including the data supply, weekly processing of medical data extracts. You will oversee coding tasks with a focus on commercially significant products and diagnoses. 

Strategically, this role bolsters Real World Insight (RWI) commercial activities by ensuring the timely availability of data for Pharma clients, both domestically and internationally. It also entails conducting medical research to cater to RWI’s specific needs related to diseases and products. 

Our Analyst has a profound understanding of the Australian pharmaceutical and medical industries.  

Your natural ability to communicate and coordinate responsibilities will be well regarded as in this role as you will be guiding the consulting team and clients on the best data extraction methods for studies. In addition, we require the below skills for this position. 

• Medical and Technical Expertise, knowledge with diseases, products, and the medical sector to support RWI consulting activities 

• Technical Skills: Competence in managing and processing large datasets, with expertise in data extraction techniques 

• Experience collaborating with a combined onshore and offshore team  

Qualifications 

• Degree qualified in fields such as Health Sciences, Medicine, or other Scientific disciplines 

• Technical proficiency in SQL, python 

• Experience working with healthcare and pharmaceutical data assets
