As Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for leading the deployment of DrugDev Spark technology solutions. This position is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating projects according to predetermined timelines and budgets. The Senior Project Manager builds and oversees client relationships, ensuring quality control throughout a project life cycle. The Senior Project Manager serves as the client point of contact and team lead and can lead multiple Sponsor accounts.  The Senior Project Manager role will also support, as required, the new business sales process and will attend customer demonstrations, bid-defense meetings, and prepare proposed budget and statements of work.  The Senior Project Manager will also help support the overall group recruiting process, helping to attract, evaluate and retain talent within the overall group.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

• Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact with customers, working with customers to help them understand DrugDev Spark technology solutions and capabilities
• Work to understand and evaluate customer needs and to help develop a comprehensive list of customer requirements and project operations plan.
• Make decisions and judgment calls related to the delivery of DrugDev Spark solutions
• Act as the leader and general manager of the professional services team 
• Support the sales team in meeting with potential customers, understanding the needs of those customers, and explaining the value of DrugDev products
• Work with DrugDev Spark integrations team and Clients in the development of user requirements and data transfer specifications for system integrations
• Support the professional services team in working with customers to make them successful with DrugDev Spark solutions
• Support the technology organization by working with them in designing and developing new tools and features for the DrugDev Spark platform
• Assist in hiring capable and enthusiastic team members who fit with culture of the company and are passionate about supporting customers and peers
• Actively participate in the performance management process, setting objectives and evaluating performance of professional services staff.
• Provide ongoing professional services support as requested by clients

This position does have responsibility for managing people.

Minimum Experience Requirements

• Must have BA/BS degree, preferably in a business, science/health care field, information systems, technology or equivalent degree and/or related experience. 
• 7+ years prior work experience required, including responsibility for managing people/teams/departments. 
• Prior experience at a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, CRO, clinical research, or healthcare technology company preferred.
• Experience working with and implementing technology solutions a plus
