PURPOSE: This role is an ideal stepping-stone for current college students. This position will provide exposure to and obtain get hands-on experience in competitive cybersecurity field working with software development language such as Python, Java, C# or Bash.                                                                                  

DevSecOps Automation Intern projects vary, your typical responsibilities and opportunities might include:

  • Explore/evaluate various DevOps security automation tools:
    • scanning static 3rd party component, scanning source code for security flaws, running penetration tests, automatically check security policy, integration with identity and access management system, enforce privileged access control, automating updates, checking network/host/container hardening
  • Develop integration software components or script to enable the security automation in DevOps CI/CD pipeline
  • Specific tasks will be tailored to the intern’s experience level and abilities                                  


  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s program – preferably focused in Information Technology
  • Familiarity with of least one software development language set such as Python, Java, C# or Bash
  • Aptitude for writing software automation tools
  • Willingness to learn, be mentored
  • Desire to share technical knowledge in area of expertise
  • General Information security knowledge is preferred
