As Associate Director for Talent & Learning, you will be responsible for a suite of essential learning solutions that build skills and drive business results. Main Role Objective

Provide support for the continuous improvement of the Talent & Learning (T&L) function through development and implementation of innovative Learning and Development programs. With limited guidance, provide expertise, support and advice to management teams either locally, regionally, globally or by function.


  • Develop strong and effective team relationships with HR specialist functions/Centers of Excellence to identify and develop future skills needed to meet the evolving strategic goals of the organizational
  • Establish and maintain effective communications with other L&D functional areas to ensure delivery and outcomes are in alignment with strategy and design
  • Consult with business units or work groups and perform qualitative and quantitative assessments around specific business performance-related issues, extract insight, propose novel solutions and bring the resources of the T&L/Human Resources community together to resolve
  • Ensure courses are offered either on a regularly scheduled basis or scheduled as required to meet the needs of the client-facing community
  • Partner with instructional designers and subject matter experts, prepare course material for training sessions and /or facilitate training programs for employees or through assigned vendors
  • Initiate and continue regular communication with management of business line(s) to determine applicability of course content and training satisfaction levels
  • Participate in the execution of effective and efficient delivery of training programs using various modalities such as instructor-led and technology-based training
  • Measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the training programs and make recommendations to appropriate L&D functional area. Communicate resource needs to appropriate management as necessary
  • Keep up to date on market trends and current development especially in the area of sales or client facing topics. Maintain a network of professional training contacts
  • Conduct course evaluations and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Identify and make recommendations for the learning program
  • Ensure training administrators regularly update Learning Management System
  • Provide input to the training budget and expenses within assigned budget allocations

Skills & Experience

  • Circa 10 years’ experience in training assessment, design, facilitation, delivery and evaluation experience
  • Strong knowledge of organizational development principles and methods including quantitative and qualitative assessment. Sales specialty preferred.
  • Highly effective interpersonal, project management skills, organizational skills and leadership skills

  • Strong listening and diagnostic skills and ability to provide insight based on data gathered
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and HRIS applications

  • Ability to lead, guide and motivate staff to achieve desired results
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.

Minimum required education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
