Role Summary: 

You will be responsible for business development supports of advanced analytics offerings, especially in artificial intelligence/ machine learning spectrum. Our offering has been so popular, has grown so quickly, that we need an additional knowledgeable business leader with strong analytics background, so we can handle the growing customer base without interruption. You will develop/improve the methodology and packaging of advanced analytics offerings to be delivered to clients. You will manage multiple consulting projects of varying complexity and ensures on-time and on-budget delivery for clients in the pharmaceutical or related industries. Additionally, this role will work with IQVIA principals and engagement managers and other key stakeholders for product development and planning to anticipate and accommodate current and future customer requirements. 

Ideal candidate must have been responsible for customer acquisition and retention through developing and improving cutting-edge advanced analytics offerings and contributes to new business development and maintaining and strengthening client base. Through project management and collaboration, this position is responsible for the day-to-day activities in support of assigned clients with a focus on exemplary service and delivery of contracted business. 


  • Understand client’s needs, helps identify and resolve issues, support sales teams in building and maintaining positive client relations for advanced analytics offerings

  • Provides statistical methodology and project management support such as deck presentation and data visulization in the delivery of standard and custom studies
  • Manages project teams including both internal and external resources in the design, development and delivery of client solutions.
  • Defines statistical design and methodology to meet client information needs, conducts statistical analyses to derive conclusions from the study, and identifies new opportunities for standard reports and for value-added analytics
  • Provides coaching and direction to Junior Consultants and Analysts across multiple projects at any given time. 
  • Implements tactical study plans in answer to business questions, performs quantitative research, and provides written summaries of study results
  • Manage and delivers consistently on commitments and results which are based on client and management expectations
  • Proactively mentors, coaches and shares subject matter expertise with others to elevate our capabilities to deliver world-class solutions for clients. 


  • Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics or related field with two to five years of experience OR a Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience in applied statistics, or market research

  • Strong verbal and written communication; ability to interact with multiple layers of business and technical stake holders
  • Strong presentation software skills; Power Point, Excel, Tableau etc.
  • Technical skills/knowledge in one or more of the following: machine learning, regression analysis and forecasting, data modeling, Python/SAS/R programming, database query
  • Ability to multi-task balancing work needed across multiple client projects at the same time
  • Experience working with Patient-level and/or medical claims-level data
  • Proven conflict management skills with ability to read situations quickly and obtain cooperation
  • Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. 
  • MBA is preferred but not required
