MI/PV- Translation Specialist, German/English Speaker

3-4 month contract- Immediate start

Based in Dublin office- East Point Business Park


In this role supporting our MI/PV teams, you will use your language expertise to translate medical information and adverse event documents.


  • Translate safety data source documents from German to English ensuring accuracy at all times.
  • Assist in any other translation requests from the Lifecycle Safety team as required. This will include translations of medical terminologies, so fluency is absolutely essential.
  • Establish and maintain effective team communications i.e. provide regular feedback to the local management team on project metrics, out of scope work challenges/issues and successes.
  • Depending on your experience, some roles will require you to provide leadership training and mentoring for less experienced team members of staff, and assist managers with appropriate allocation of resource.
  • Build a positive, collaborative team environment with other Lifecycle safety team members


  • Fluency in written and verbal English and German.
  • Ability to work flexibly, organize own workload and effectively manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy maintaining consistently high-quality standards.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and flexibility to support business need


  • Language fluency to level C2 CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference) at a minimum is required in German and English
