Job Description

Our Global training team has a direct impact on our employees, our partners, our customers, and the business by providing product, business process, general technology education, and (limited) skills training for audiences around the globe, such as but not limited to: Sales, Delivery, Partners, Client End-Users. 


As the Training Excellence Manager on our team, you look across the Curriculum Design, Instructional Design and Instruction Delivery functions to establish and govern processes, measurement approaches and other standards that support a high functioning training organization.


Responsibilities:

Specifically, you will:

  • Proactively identify, prioritize and recommend process improvement opportunities to help improve the Global Training function
  • Enable capabilities to establish and govern standards and processes that will drive a high functioning training organization
  • Define end-to-end processes to govern training development and delivery from intake through execution
  • Work with respective training managers (Curriculum Design, Instructional Design, Training Instruction) to define and formalize standards and best practices within their respective verticals
  • Define measurement approach to assess Training's impact on the organization
  • Measure the effectiveness of each training module's ability to achieve its target learning objectives
  • Measure training effectiveness, costs and impact to building capability.
  • Create approaches to achieve improvements and identify and incorporate best practices and lessons learned
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of individual trainee's completion and certification status

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in process improvement, quality and analysis.
  • Recognized process improvement (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma) and problem solving (e.g. RCA, DMAIC, 5 Whys) training preferred
  • Proven experience in managing cross functional teams in the execution and implementation of process improvement projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly recognize issues and opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies. Strong ability to lead process enhancement activities.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication and influencing skills to be a strong advocate for the training organization.
  • Strong root cause analysis capabilities, ability to collect and analyze data to solve complex problems
  • Demonstrated understanding of problem solving & quality improvement techniques
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
