Role Purpose

As our Sr Manager, Commercial Operations Sr Manager, you will own and drive business change. Working with stakeholders across the Global Technology Solutions organization worldwide, your contributions will enable our Go-to-Market teams to more effectively drive sales and business results. You will work closely with other commercial operations, finance and reporting teams within the larger company to efficiently deliver solutions that drive decisions. An ideal candidate for this role will have a solid combination of interpersonal skills, business acumen, understanding of sales processes, an analytical mindset, and ability to drive and sustain operational improvements.

This role requires strong data analytics experience and familiarity with connecting analytics to business decisions and expertise in using and mapping data through BI Tools.

  • Proactively identify key opportunities to drive performance by developing and delivering segmentation analysis, product performance analytics, and customer profiling to generate business insights and learnings.
  • Effectively communicate insights and data findings to influence decision-making, and drive action to achieve business results
  • Identify customers to target, next best action, etc. through whitespace analysis and customer segmentation models. 
  • Create succinct story boards on profitability modelling and pricing impact analysis to communicate data learnings influencing business decisions
  • Collaborate and partner effectively with various stakeholders across the world, including,  Sales, , Finance, Operations and Technology teams;
  • Continuously identify opportunities to increase efficiencies through process and analytics automation, as well as partnering with other teams ensuring trusted data availability for standard and ad hoc analytics.
  • Ability to integrate data from multiple systems. 

Bachelor’s degree is required. Advanced degree in business, marketing, or social sciences is preferred

  • 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role with transferable experience (management consulting, business transformation, business analysis, etc).  Experience in analytics with focus on Sales, Segmentation, Customer Profiling and Analytics.
  • Experience working to support a diverse and international sales audience and the metrics needed to run the business and drive a regular pipeline cadence. Working in high tech or SaaS businesses is a huge plus.
  • Methodological hands-on mastery of relevant analytical approaches and models, including segmentation, clustering methods, demand forecasting, pricing analytics, market trend analytics, etc.
  • Experience with analytical & visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI etc.)  Extensive experience with manipulating different datasets & statistical modeling
  • Working in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision


  • Advanced Excel user with expertise to manage and present data (complex formulas, macros, pivot tables a must)
  • Extensive experience using Salesforce to manage and analyze pipeline a must
  • Advanced experience in PowerPoint to deliver insightful presentations essential to C-Suite and Global leaders
  • Hyperion and Oracle software experience a plus
  • Critical to this role will be experience in defining requirements for visualization software (PowerBI, Tableau, Spotfire)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills as evidenced through impactful presentations
  • Strong planning and organizational skills; able to set priorities, develop and manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
  • Demonstrated leadership influencing cross-functional teams.  Able to gain buy-in and promote shared project ownership.
