Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant
An exciting opportunity is available for a dynamic Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant to join the IQVIA™ team providing recruiting support across Asia. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this role will drive hiring and ensure recruiting service delivery excellence across the assigned geography or business line within specified procedural guidelines and timelines. This is a fast-paced recruiting delivery role, with responsibility for finding and hiring top talent, managing stakeholder relationships and delivering tailored, world class recruiting solutions across multiple business areas.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work with management in assigned service areas, business units or departments to source, select and hire qualified candidates to fill vacant positions using cost-effective techniques and in accordance with company policies, procedures and processes. Manage applicant flow to ensure availability of qualified candidates and compliance with diversity hiring goals.
  • Provide innovative sourcing solutions- leverage creative tactics and a variety of sources (including Linkedin and other social media, talent referrals, direct applicants, recruitment agencies, etc.) to deliver top talent to fill open positions the assigned geographies. Create a superior candidate experience in managing experienced junior and senior-level recruits through the end-to-end hiring process, including extending and closing offers.
  • Partner with your internal stakeholders to fully understand role profiles and setting realistic expectations on turnaround times.
  • Effectively team with counterparts in wider HR, and other internal facing teams, as well as hiring managers.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team in driving strategic and process improvement initiatives across Asia.
  • Provide guidance and direction to more junior members of the talent acquisition team.
  • Write job postings to post and advertise positions.
  • Review applications and conduct interviews to obtain information regarding applicant's work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.
  • Create and coordinate job advertising in various media. Attend job fairs and develop and maintain contacts with colleges, universities, alumni groups, and other organizations to identify potential applicants.
  • Work with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates. Utilize Internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates.
  • Create partnerships with area employment agencies, advertising agencies, and temporary agencies.
  • With guidance, provide coaching and counseling to functional business leaders and line management to effectively support talent acquisition goals.
  • Meet with functional business leaders and executive management, as required, to discuss and establish talent acquisition objectives and ensure they are achieved.
  • Assist with training line management on recruiting, interviewing, and the selection process as required.
  • Assist with managing projects related to legislation in the recruitment process within HR and across the business, HR systems, practices, procedures and compliance.
  • Support a diverse workforce and comply with local and regional hiring guidelines and procedures, particularly for applicant tracking.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and demands impacting the company’s ability to attract competitive candidates; coordinate with the compensation team on salary offer considerations and equity concerns.
  • Ensure the provision of timely employee-related information to management teams as necessary.
  • May be responsible for meeting established financial targets and assisting with business development activities depending on business line.

Job Requirements

Desired Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with more than 3 years’ hands-on, full life-cycle recruiting experience from sourcing and screening, managing interview processes, and closing candidates gained from working preferably within a professional services environment (especially consulting) and/or the healthcare industry.
  • Experience recruiting across a variety of profiles and ability to quickly come up to speed on new ones.
  • Strong time management and prioritization capabilities, with ability to multi-task and self-manage.
  • Good presentation skills, excellent written and oral communication skills along with an ability to interact and develop networks in a professional manner across the business.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, influencing & decision facilitation skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of legislation in the recruiting process
  • Ability to think strategically whilst maintaining an eye for detail.
  • Competent user of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint, HRIS  as well as applicant tracking systems.
  • Good ability to work in a matrix environment
  • Good understanding and awareness of the commercial environment and market trends
  • Good customer service skills
  • Very high degree of discretion and confidentiality
