Act as Finance Partner to the IQVIA South East Asia Services business team. Job scope includes
  • Providing financial analysis support, insights and business partnering to Commercial Services business leaders across South East Asia (mainly) and Asia Pac (adhoc).
  • Providing control, co-ordination and management of data flow for strategic planning, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and support of ad-hoc analysis to meet operational requirements.
  • Providing accurate and timely business performance input to regional and global management.
Principal Accountabilities:
  • Analyze monthly actual financial results and prepare variance analysis versus Plan and Forecast
  • Lead the monthly management forecast process which includes loading the nos. in the financial systems
  • Lead/participate weekly and monthly commercial services sales cadence process to ascertain revenue risks and opportunities
  • Monitor and report areas of operational risk and/or opportunity
  • Co-ordinate with other regional/country finance leaders to manage regional financial matters  
  • Guide commercial stakeholders in investment and ROI appraisals
  • Provide direction and guidance on revenue recognition to finance partners and business leaders relating to Commercial Services business
  • Prepare and Present budget and forecast analysis to senior management at business reviews
  • Research and report ad hoc information and reporting requests
  • Review and suggest actions on an ongoing basis to automate/improve existing financial processes and implement new processes if opportunity exists
  • Lead/participate in the implementation of new financial system

Job Requirements

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance required with a minimum of ten (10) to twelve (12) years of work experience in Accounting or Finance. FP&A experience of at least 5 years is preferred.
Additional Requirements:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong leadership and analytical focus.
  • Proven record of good results working with senior management.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to translate business issues into financial requirements.
  • Technical proficiency with financial application software (SAP, Hyperion Essbase, SFDC, MS Office) is essential.
  • High level of integrity and self-confidence and results oriented approach.
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work and adapt to different foreign cultures.
