Major Duties Performed (Main Functions)

  • Achieve project revenue at USD 800K per year by leading a team of 5-7 mid-junior level members
  • Manage the process of proposal preparation and/or modifications including overall bid integrity, and ensure the development of final reports and presentations to meet client’s research objectives
  • Outline development plans for team members and to help them grow in their current roles/ move up to the next level
  • Help develop the capability of team members, via providing professional inputs to the specific projects or relevant online/offline trainings to maximize the performance of a strong team as a whole Proactively manage the team’s workload to achieve a good balance between financial targets and people retention
  • Sets tone of team work, and drive effective collaboration in their team
  • Clearly articulates basic expectations of collaborative behavior and fosters team spirit, particularly in the positive engagement of juniors
  • Takes initiative to bring groups with diverse perspectives together to encourage dialogue, fostering collaboration across the organization
  • Drive a culture of excellence, leveraging self and team strengths in project delivery - with clear and effective delegation of tasks where appropriate
  • Develop partnership with 3 or 4 key clients, with the aim to become trusted strategic business partner and win repeat business
  • Serve as primary contact for most assigned projects
  • Leverage broader IQVIA assets to exceed client expectations, identify opportunities that create follow-on work and add enhanced value to client
  • Develop understanding of how to position and "sell" the value of different approaches to clients

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required

  • Bachelor’s degree above majored in medical, pharmacy, biology, sociology, statistics or related fields
  • 8-10 years’ experience in healthcare market research, preferably market research (either agency or mixed of client/agency) marketing, business development positions with market research exposures
  • Rich qualitative analysis or statistics experience, excellence at statistic tools such as SPSS, Excel for programming and statistics analysis
  • Deep knowledge of Market Research methods, tools and techniques and excellent multi-project management skills
  • Deep knowledge in China pharmaceutical industry or marketing healthcare products
  • Keen on market research and consulting service for excellent outcome
  • A team player, effective skills in team motivation, collaboration, coordination and leadership
  • Enjoys work and takes satisfaction in completing tasks to a high quality and with a focus on details
  • Innovative, strategic thinker with an enquiring mind; excellent presentation and communication skills; good time management and learning ability
