The Opportunity

IMS Brand Measurement and Primary Research includes all of IMS’ primary market research assets. These include Medical Radar, PiTre, and ad-hoc primary market research (PMR). As a group, we have the most comprehensive information assets, methodologies and expertise — globally, regionally, and locally — to optimize performance for launch and in-market brands. We also employ sample supplementation studies (hospital and specialist), trade-off analyses (discrete choice modeling, conjoint analysis, hybrid conjoint, paired comparisons), in-person surveys, and mail surveys (diary studies, panel management). These are in addition to studies with a qualitative focus, including in-person interviews, tele-depth interviews, Web-assisted tele- depth interviews, in-person focus groups, on-line focus groups, and advisory boards.

  • Best practice application in all engagement stages
  • Begin to identify Business development and proposal/lead strategy
  • Account management and client contact
  • Lead multiple small project team
  • Responsible for the on-time completion of projects or components of large, complex  projects for clients in the pharmaceutical or related industries. Identifies and elevates potential new business opportunities
  • Participates or leads teams in the design, development and delivery of consulting projects or components of larger, complex projects.
  • Reviews and analyzes client requirements or problems and assists in the development of proposals of cost effective solutions that ensure profitability and high client satisfaction. 
  • Provides direction and guidance to Analysts and Consultants assigned to engagement.
  • Develops detailed documentation and specifications.
  • Performs qualitative and/or quantitative analyses to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client specific solutions.
  • Designs, structures and delivers client reports and presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics or needs of the audience.
  • Recommends improvements and alternative solutions to resolve problems.
  • May identify new business opportunities of follow-on work and new leads at assigned client.
  • Provides follow-up with client after project deliverable has been completed to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Proactively develops broader and deeper knowledge of related consulting methodologies and pharmaceutical market through on the job experience and participation in training opportunities.
  • Begins to develop practice specific subject matter expertise.

Capabilities & Skill Sets expected:

  • Ability to develop and deliver high-quality written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office e.g. Excel and Powerpoint; prior experience structuring, developing and delivering high-quality presentations is a must; similarly, excellent command over written and spoken English is a must
  • Strong market research methodologies and strong project manager
  • Experience in lifescience/ healthcare market research both quantitative and qualitative
