Job Description


Market Prognosis is a service designed to aid strategic planning and corporate decision-making. The Market Prognosis team is responsible for delivery of syndicated studies that evaluate future environmental, political, economic, healthcare and regulatory trends that will shape the pharmaceutical market. The Analyst position will be responsible for the creation of reports and forecasts for assigned countries, providing key insights on issues affecting the pharmaceutical & biotech industries in these countries.


  • Creating high quality analysis in the form of reports and forecasts designed for senior decision-makers within the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
  • Gathering and interpreting qualitative and quantitative information; designing questionnaires; and interviewing opinion leaders.
  • Analysing and interpreting IQVIA™ data and third party sources to develop deep insight and understanding of market dynamics.
  • Developing knowledge of various proprietary databases, methodologies and analytical approaches/frameworks that can be leveraged to produce Market Prognosis forecasts and reports.
  • Producing forecasts for countries of focus.
  • Presenting and defending forecasts and underlying assumptions to internal and external customers.
  • Responding to client queries in countries of expertise.
  • Building relationships with external clients and internal stakeholders to ensure offerings & services are delivered to the highest quality, on time and to specification.
  • Delivery of thought leadership presentations in countries of expertise.
  • Participating in other forecasting projects, both syndicated and customised, as and when requested.
  • Support of Client Services.
  • Answering more complex forecasting questions.


  • Demonstrated experience in a similar environment
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Good understanding of IQVIA™ data and its applications
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Highly numerative, with forecasting experience
  • Language skills for one or more countries would be a significant advantage
  • Experience in pharmaceutical market access preferable
  • Possesses high level of computer literacy including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, with an understanding of relational databases.
  • Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
  • A flexible and collaborative approach
