IQVIA is currently recruiting for an experienced Regional Business Manager, who holds a successful track record within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, to work in partnership with one of the top specialty pharmaceutical companies, across the Nordics.

Working as a successful Regional Business Manger you will demonstrate exceptional business acumen, strong presentation and reporting skills, whilst possessing excellent insight and motivation to support the management of your regional team.

The successful candidate will additionally be an individual with a good understanding of the evolving healthcare economy as well as established key account management skills, focused on ensuring your team of experienced pharmaceutical sales representatives achieve sales targets through effective leadership, training and coaching.

Skills

  • Strong ability to individually deliver and coach a team around market access in a complex disease area
  • Strong man-management and coaching skills.  Demonstrated ability to effectively manage team members to achieve their role objectives by engaging in strong performance management processes, inclusive of analysis, objective setting and monitoring of performance
  • Must be able to operate with a high level of personal accountability, sense of urgency and self-motivation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a high level of, and impactful written and spoken English and able to handle the high-level Health Care System decision makers as well as appropriate.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Science, marketing or business undergraduate degree OR
  • Senior level sales and commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Must be willing to travel on a regular basis primarily within the Region and expect to be away from home on average 2 nights per week
  • Experience of working and delivering success across a wide range of projects and stakeholders
  • Solid and validated success and experience in managing speciality teams in pharmaceuticals and track record of driving sales growth; Must have significant experience of managing sales.
