On behalf of an important multinational company leader in the medical technology market we are looking for a Regional Business Development Manager who can join an exciting working environment in a dynamic and international atmosphere.

Job Requirements

  • To lead the development, implementation & monitoring of the strategic B2B channel expansion plan and the B2B channel management for the assigned product portfolio across the assigned region.
  • To work in collaboration with commercial management, marketing and assigned key channel partners to develop the strategic and tactical plans and programs to achieve the business objectives for the respective markets.
  • To expand the assigned product portfolio by seeking additional opportunities to drive further profitable penetration of existing portfolio as well as seeking additional channels in the region.
  • Manage the activities and channel partnerships of the region to support and drive key business activities to ensure Sales Revenue, Gross Profit & other financial targets set for the area of responsibility.
  • Set objectives for identified channel partners and to assess distributor’s performance & evaluate it on a regular basis.
  • Identify and accelerate new business development via expansion of pipeline and activation of high margin accounts in innovative market segments.
  • Manage the relationships with key customers in order to build-up sustainable partnerships and implement/follow up on account/customer projects/solutions.
  • Lead and coach partner teams through the business planning process and support the execution of territory action plans leveraging the portfolio solutions.
  • Deliver winning business proposals to gain the aligned commitment of new and existing channel partners and effectively drive desired buyer behavior in target segments.
  • Accountable for regular reporting with the Head of Marketing regarding strategic and tactical business development activities.

  • Previous experience in the Medical Device business is mandatory
  • Proficiency in English and Italian, Spanish will be considered as a plus
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent problem solving, planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, good negotiator with strong customer focus
  • Team player, flexible and able to work independently with a results-oriented work ethic
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong time management skills
