Job Purpose

As an Sr. Consultant you will be able to develop business and implement innovative data-driven solutions with clients in real world data, HTA, health economics and market access fields.

Innovation is at the very core of RWAS and this role. You will be responsible for engaging local and regional clients to develop custom HTA and RWE, developing innovative product offerings and leveraging latest innovation in technology and data science to develop value added solutions.

Accountabilities

Strategy setting and market building

  • Take a leadership role in implementing Real World Insights (RWD, Health Economics and Market Access) business vision and objectives and supporting the strategic development of the business in Colombia
  • Identify new opportunities for innovative data solutions and platforms
  • Build and maintain external stakeholder relationships to promote IQVIA market positioning, access to data and relationships with key influencing groups
  • Contribute to the development of the IQVIA thought leadership and innovation agenda
  •  Carry out work to a high standard which meets or exceeds client expectations
  •  Support senior staff on specific business initiatives as required
  •  Work independently and/or as part of a project team on defined tasks
  • Client leadership and project delivery

Project management

• Assist with overall project/client management

• Attend client and other external meetings as appropriate

• Manage specific project work streams independently

Health economic modeling

• Produce draft storyboards for simple health economic models and provide significant input to their further development

• Review literature to source the required inputs

• Produce support materials for completed economic models, e.g. reports and training programs

Market access strategy

• Carry out research and produce reports for projects delivering strategic advice to clients on research agendas, value proposition and market access outcomes research/health services research

Literature and data review

• Develop search strategies for structured and systematic literature reviews

• Manage the full review process (abstract review, paper selection and data extraction)

• Write and review literature review reports

Medical writing for value communication

• Develop the structure of and write clinical and economic chapters for product value dossiers and value communications support material

Draft abstracts, posters and manuscripts for publication based on economic models, literature reviews, meta-analyses and other HEOR work

Requirements

  • Bachelor or MHA/MPH/PhD - education in economics, health economics, public health, health services research or a relevant related area
  • At least 2 year of experience in health economics/outcomes research or RWE
  • Prior consulting experience
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative skills
  • Microsoft Office Knowledge
  • Experience with statistical package a plus (SAS, SPSS, R)
  • Strong commercial awareness of the healthcare, health technology and pharmaceutical industry, gained through experience
