Under direct supervision, trainee engineer assists in research and fact‐finding to develop or modify information systems. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains related software programs.


  • Writes code to implement the design and performs unit testing of changes including development of test plans under direct supervision.
  • Works with the documentation team to assure new functionality is properly
  • Works with test team as needed on validation of software products.
  • Works on automation of development or testing task as per the assignment.


  • Working knowledge in one or more of the following:

.NET Technologies, Java/J2EE Technologies, Vaadin, Oracle/PLSQL, SQL Server, ETL, Apex, Apian, Python, Mulesoft, Swift, Node.js, Angular.js, Microsoft Project Server, Sharepoint, Spotfire

  • Familiarity with one or more software development methodology – agile, iterative et is desirable
  • Exposure to SVN, JIRA, Kubernetees, Bamboo will be an advantage for this role.
  • Have good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environments
  • Being sensitive to different cultures and work globally


  • Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, information technology, Data Science, Analytics, or closely related subject


  • Extensive use of keyboard and mouse requiring repetitive motion of fingers and wrists
  • Regular sitting for extended periods of time
  • Frequent use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech
