Job Description

Join us on our exciting journey!

IQVIA™ is The Human Data Science Company™, focused on using data and science to help healthcare clients find better solutions for their patients. Formed through the merger of IMS Health and Quintiles, IQVIA offers a broad range of solutions that harness advances in healthcare information, technology, analytics and human ingenuity to drive healthcare forward.

Come and develop your career in clinical trials amongst a team of vibrant, dedicated professionals who make up the Contracts & Proposals group at IQVIA™ – the world’s largest CRO.

As a Proposals Developer you will support the global Sales team by developing winning proposals for Phase 1-4 clinical trials, and associated clinical services.

Working in a global team of approximately 60 Proposal Developers, you will work on bids across the full spectrum of customers, therapeutic areas and service lines, with award values ranging from $100 thousand to $100 million!

We are seeking an extremely organised and assertive individual who can demonstrate strong communication skills and can drive the proposals process and manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities to expect as a Proposals Developer:
• Receive and analyse Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from Business Development (BD); identify information for the proposal text and the budget development, and work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to prepare and finalize the proposals.
• Participate in strategy calls to discuss customers’ requirements and identify winning strategies.
• Prepare text and budget for proposals, re-bids and related requests.
• Suggest and implement strategies to improve quality of proposals.
• Managing the proposals process from RFP receipt to proposals delivery, identifying potential barriers or risks for completion and identifying and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Update and maintain corporate databases as required and ensure accurate information is included in tracking reports.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain industry and company-wide insight into the various services and functions: Data Management, Biostatistics, Project Management, Clinical, Advisory Services, etc. on a global scale. You will work very closely with the Sales, Medics and Project Management teams to build the strategy and budget for clinical trials, which will provide you with a solid understanding of the industry, remaining up-to-date with latest news – writing for latest trials – and learning from each different department, liaising at various levels up to very senior management. The career path for this role will take you to almost any part of the business, and provide you with a unique understanding of the nuances in healthcare for different countries worldwide.

Besides all the benefits for our employees, there are many resources available to employees to encourage a work/life balance to enable them to become the best they can be in their work life as well as their personal life.
