Description

Under the direction of the Global Head of Global Services, the Client Delivery PMO Director provides leadership, organization and coordination of all client delivery project activities including program planning and project management. The Client Delivery PMO Director ensures all projects adhere to best practices and standard approaches for program and project management and ensures all client delivery projects are delivered on time, on budget and with outstanding quality and customer service. The Client Delivery PMO Director also manages change and promotes continuous improvement of project management related processes, as well as provides regular reporting on status and reporting metrics and analytics for the portfolio of projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

•    Direct Responsibility for global project execution through the project’s entire life cycle
•    Manages team of Project Professionals
•    Ensures projects are delivered with scope, with goals and deliverables in accordance with governing Master Services Agreements and Statements of Work
•    Works closely with the Consulting Practice Directors and Technical Resource Directors to ensure appropriate resources utilization to ensure that projects are managed effectively and are completed within committed time, scope and budget
•    Proactively manages any changes in project scope, identifies potential issues and devises contingency plans
•    Creates and continually updates procedures to improve Project Management process
•    Collaborates internally with other teams to build, develop and grow client relationship, manage client expectations and adjust work product as necessary for the success of the project
•    Provides status reports on project progress to client and Pilgrim Leadership team on a regular basis
•    Communicates effectively with clients and senior leadership to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
•    Monitors project financials and is accountable for any fluctuations between projected and actual
•    Creates efficiencies between the Client Delivery team and other organizations.
•    Analyzes and manages project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization company wide
•    Creates relevant reports/dashboards to keep senior leadership informed
 

Qualifications
Education & Experience

•    10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a software implementation environment; Life sciences or Medical Device/ Pharmaceutical Manufacturing environment experience a strong plus
•    Proven experience building and fostering growth and development of a project team
•    PMP certification required
•    MBA preferred

Travel

•    Up to 50% of the time
