Principal, Campaign Program Management, Omnichannel Advisory and Marketing Services

Job Description

IQVIA is looking for a Principal to oversee our Omnichannel Marketing (OM) Campaign Program Manager team focused on driving leading-edge HCP and consumer programs for our pharmaceutical clients.   We’re looking for a motivated person with demonstrated skills in marketing and marketing technology, a keen attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.  Strong communication skills to lead remote team and communicate issues/risks/solutions to internal and external client teams.

 Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a remote team of Campaign Program Managers (CPMs) across multiple pharmaceutical clients in the U.S.
  • Take lead role in solution design, proposal development and pitch presentations for CPM
  • Standardize CPM processes across clients, leveraging IQVIA & industry best practices, to establishing consistent ways of working
  • Provide guidance to team that is responsible for:
    • Facilitation of end-to-end management of MCM campaign deliverables
    • Tracking and communicating progress on key project milestones
    • Documenting campaign issues, helping to create solutions, track through resolution and then implement across clients
    • Coordination of third-party vendors
    • Working with project stakeholders to determine priorities and timelines
    • Development and communication of best practices in Campaign management
  • Coordinate with our OCE Marketing/ Sales Force Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Campaign Execution team and other teams within the OM Center of Excellence to enhance our solution and drive efficiencies
  • Identify needs and issues of importance to the industry and our clients, working across our COE to develop differentiated offerings
  • Proactively remain current on industry, client and competitive trends and directions to anticipate and identify new business challenges and issues

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Proactively continue to strengthen subject matter expertise through on the job experience, participating in conferences and symposiums and other forums for professional knowledge sharing
  • Proactively mentors, coaches and shares subject matter expertise with others to elevate our capabilities to deliver world-class solutions for clients
  • Take a leadership role in the completion of internal projects
  • Provide coaching and direction to team across multiple projects at any given time. 

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8-12 years of related experience including consulting and pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry experience.  Master’s degree preferred
  • Understanding of IQVIA data assets and how to leverage them in Omnichannel campaigns preferred
  • Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals and is effective working in a matrix environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Project.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing teams
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, team building, and support skills
  • Experience with SFMC preferred, experience with Adobe, Nexxus Marketing or similar a bonus
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%

Project Manager:

Client Role: Omnichannel Marketing Campaign Project Manager

Overview: Facilitate end-to-end management of MCM campaign deliverables; track and communicate progress on key project milestones on a weekly basis; document campaign issues and track through resolution; proactively identify risks and develop mitigation plans; work with project stakeholders to determine priorities and timelines, identify gaps and develop gap resolutions for campaign; manage and communicate best practices leveraging the project plans

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Create and execute MCM and project plans
    • Work with stakeholders to determine priorities, timelines, gaps and gap resolution 
    • Identify campaign requirements and elements
    • Collaborate with business owners to resolve any issues that arise doing campaign to reduce impact to timing, campaign goals and objectives
  • Create and maintain weekly campaign project status documentation
  • Create and maintain risk and issues log for campaign
  • Prepare and distribute meeting summary notes for operations calls
  • Prepare business requirements documentation if not provided by Client/Creative Agency for Campaign
    • Create campaign and tactic BRDs with overarching project plans, timelines, contingencies and dependencies across all stakeholders
  • Assist with identification and documentation of program data flow
  • Review Email Assets for Internal Review
  • Third Party Management:
    • Partner with IQVIA’s Data Management team to
      • Onboard third parties related to processes for receiving lists/tactic information, timing of list receipt and data response timing
      • Identify requirements for lists
      • Help answer internal tactic questions
      • Reach out to Third Party partners for missing data and/or incorrect data as needed/ direct by Data Manager
  • Manage creation of campaign playbook
  • Provide governance of campaign management workflow
    • Provides operational metrics for workflow, such as timeliness and quality of campaign deliverables
  • Document and communicate best practices, processes and standards leveraging campaign workflow.
