PURPOSE

Review, assess and process Lifecycle Safety data and information, across all service lines, received from various sources and distribute reports/data onwards to both internal and external third parties following applicable regulations SOPs and internal guidelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Receive, triage, review and process data from various sources on time within budget and meet quality standards.

Concise data entry covering everything from patient symptoms, admission and results – this will include medical terminology, possibly writing narratives, generating case queries, performing quality control, and ensuring reports are sent to the customer within deadlines

Receive and document incoming telephone calls, faxes or emails from investigative sites; patients; healthcare professionals or other sources reporting Lifecycle Safety data. 

Process Lifecycle Safety data according to applicable regulations, guidelines, Standard Operating procedures (SOPs) and project requirements. 

Assist operations team with tasks, assist in generation of reports, providing project metrics, drafting project instructions/guidelines and assist in implementation of new processes. 

Liaise with different functional team stakeholders to address project related issues. 

Attend project team meetings and provide feedback to operations manager on any challenges/issues or successes. 



Job Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES


•         Willingness to learn new, relevant skills across Lifecycle Safety.


•         Good knowledge of medical terminology,


•         Excellent attention to detail


•         Excellent telephone manner utilising your languages skills.


•         Accuracy; organizational managing competing priorities and changing demands in a fast paced environment are absolutely essential.


•         Positive communicator and willing to help less experienced team members.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A High School Diploma with relevant work experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline
  • Alternatively, you should have an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Although a medical background is not necessary, a life science background is beneficial
  • Fluency in French is required and German would be desirable 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 
• Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers. 
• Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech. 
• Regular sitting for extended periods of time. 
• May require occasional travel
