THE ROLE

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will support commercial reporting and operational improvement projects (initiatives) across the combined global RWAS business (Global BU teams, Regional BU teams, or functional teams) with significant impact on the company. Initiatives will be focused on Investments and Commercial Operations, designed to optimize key operational metrics such as revenue, gross margin, win rates, utilization and client satisfaction through effective implementation across regional and global business units.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, production and maintenance of key commercial and financial tracking dashboards
  • Understands RWAS goals and operating model and translates those into proactive implementation plans for key operational initiatives.  
  • Takes on ownership to drive the effective implementation of certain operational initiatives, for example:
    • Establish and manage cadence, standard documentation and internal meetings for senior stakeholder investment tracking
    • Production of regular sales-related excel reports and dashboarding from CRM or other enterprise systems
    • Provide ad-hoc reports (commercial ops) to GBU and RBU management teams.
  • Proactively works across global and regional teams on interdependent and cross-project issues enabling the implementation of operational initiatives and identifying blockers/barriers to successful implementation.
  • Coordinate and manage stakeholders across Global Business Units (GBU) and Regional Business Units (RBU).
  • Assists the RWI business in internal business cycles, assisting with functional and corporate management review.
  • Coordinates operations activities with other functions including service, consulting, business lines and sales, as appropriate.

CORE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in producing data dashboards and/or complex data visualization
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills as well as examples of problem solving.
  • Relevant experience of operations or project-based roles.
  • Excellent knowledge of IQVIA offerings.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

    DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Prior experience in creating dashboards for commercial purposes highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in commercial, financial or process improvement projects or initiatives desirable (internal or external customers).
  • Lean Sigma experience desirable but not a pre-requisite.
  • Knowledge of Pharmaceutical industry.
