Multi-Channel Marketing Advanced Analytics –  Consultant


We are seeking consultants for the multi-channel marketing (MCM) advanced analytics team.  Successful candidates will leverage their analytical skillset in areas such as statistical analysis, econometric modeling, data mining, reporting and optimization to relate sales or marketing activities to financial results.  Through true collaboration with client and partner teams, this professional will be capable of acquiring, massaging, cleansing and structuring data from multiple sources to deliver key analytics-based insight to drive business decisions.


Additional responsibilities include

  • Collaborate with project leads and clients to gather business requirements
  • Translate client business problems into analytical problems and recommend data and analytical approaches/methodology to address business problems/issues
  • Work with project leads to define project scope and develop analysis approach
  • Extract and process large quantities of data from databases and other data marts in support of assignments
  • Use data extraction, manipulation, and interpretation to provide useful, actionable insights
  • Help create and analyze meaningful performance reports/ analytic output as per the requirements and instructions
  • Design customizable client dashboards that may span across all personal and non-personal channels
  • Under direction of senior consultants, conduct analyses using advanced analytics techniques such as; machine learning-based modeling; statistical / econometric modeling; customer segmentation and targeting; and ROI analysis
  • Report results of statistical analyses, including information in the form of graphs, charts, tables and other visualizations
  • Implement solutions and provide recommendations that drive results for client campaigns and larger business objectives

    Skills/Requirements

  • Master’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, finance or other quantitative field required
  • 2-3 years of experience in executing analytics assignments
  • 1+ year experience in quantitative digital marketing arena
  • Background in working with pharmaceutical and/or healthcare data preferred
  • Proficient in SQL, Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel & Power Point) and Tableau
  • Intermediate-advanced skills in R, Python and/or SAS programming
  • Keen attention to detail and track record of delivering high-quality analyses
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Solid experience with statistical concepts, modeling and experimental design
  • Self-discipline to plan ahead and organize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Experience with large-scale databases and data integration techniques
  • Experience presenting quantitative results to specialist and non-specialist audiences
  • Proficiency in at least two digital marketing channels (Email, Mobile Alerts, Search, Social, Display, etc.)

    The ideal candidate will possess subject matter expertise and familiarity with industry issues and trends, and have a keen understanding of related businesses in the pharma/healthcare vertical.
