PURPOSE

Ensure effective insight- and evidence-based design of behavior changing communications solutions for patients and healthcare professionals by devising and leading the Communications Team’s insight generation and program design capability. Take responsibility for insight generation, mobilization and program design for new and existing business opportunities. Lead collaborations with IQVIA partners and stakeholders to identify and leverage sources of insights including Center of Excellence, data and digital landscaping / social media, primary and secondary research. Evolve, establish and embed insight and evidence-based program design approach among Communications and Business Development teams. Lead program insight and design activities for existing and new clients. Participate in client presentations and pitches as insight generation and program design SME. Drive thought leadership activities and help IQVIA to become recognized in the market-place for solution design and execution. Provide senior leadership in the development of content and material development for client projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•Review, refine and articulate a consistent and efficient Communications Team Insight Generation, Program Driver and Program Design process, working with Product and Strategy Specialist to develop customer facing material
•Take responsibility for identifying the optimal sources of insights and evidence to inform program design, forming partnerships inside and outside IQVIA to generate cost effective and high quality sources of insight relevant to each audience
•Lead and participate in insights projects, including stand alone insights generation projects – e.g. stakeholder identification, segmentation, behavioral drivers – and wider program design projects where such insights are leveraged to design patient facing and HCP facing program including content strategies and multi-channel strategies and instructional design
•Train Communications Team members on Insights and Program design approach and process
•Collaborate with Account Leads to triage and proactively target opportunities and existing accounts, identifying tiered levels of insight and program design support required to ensure effective use of resources on existing and new business
•Represent the Communications Team within wider business unit initiatives and collaborations as Insight and Program Design SME
•Lead internal and external thought leadership initiatives to establish and maintain strong presence and expertise in the area of insight-based program design
•Lead the development of processes relating to the inclusion of insights in our RFP responses, including innovative ways to communicate our patient-centric approach
•Work with Head of Communications to identify and address organizational, technical, partnership or capability barriers to delivery and realization of a best in class Insight and Program design function
•Work with Product and Strategy Director to evolve product offering
•Provide expertise and support to new business proposals and/or existing projects.
•Lead thought leadership activities in partnership with wider communications team and marketing teams

Job Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
•Strong knowledge of Bio-Pharmaceutical industry 
•Proven knowledge and experience in insights generation, behavioral change techniques and communications program design
•Strong leadership, communication, presentation and influencing skills 
•Attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities
•Demonstrated experience in leading global projects in a matrixed, multi-regional organization
•Ability to work independently and as a team player
•Strategic business and industry awareness and the ability to translate emerging industry trends relevant to the organization
•Ability to work creatively in a fast paced environment maintaining flexibility and changing priorities to meeting demanding timelines
•Strong financial, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to develop and articulate recommendations and solutions based on this analysis
•Strong organizational, planning, project management and logistics skills
•Strong software and computer skills, including MS Office applications
•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
•Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years relevant experience within the pharmaceutical industry or agency environment; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
•Health Educator (US) / health psychology (UK) certification preferred
