Responsibilities

  • Work with CSMS partner to enable engagement with local, national and/or regional payer entities/organizations on behalf of clients and the organization to facilitate the approval, adoption and integration into the health services
  • Collect necessary data for and processing rebates and reimbursements and providing advice to healthcare system liaisons (e.g., NHS in the UK) on the optimal value of a company's medicines.
  • Support the leadership of the CSMS services working with key colleagues across the wider IQVIA organisation.
  • Ensures compliance with prevailing processes and regulatory guidelines as necessary
  • Work closely with physicians and physician offices to build relationships
  • Ensure quality of service delivery, in line with country Commercial Governance and Quality arrangements and in line with the relevant regulatory and legal requirements
  • Work appropriately with internal and external stakeholders to keep up to date with developments in government/regulatory provisions for both commercial and research purposes.
  • Responsible for leveraging the various access and funding mechanisms in both Public and Private sector:

1. Public Channel:

  • National Insurance/UHCs: Build value dossiers, engagement with MOHs /HTAs as appropriate for each market. Responsibility for HEOR/Access as well as Pricing strategy and execution
  • Special Funding schemes: Innovative ways to tap on this channel relevant in their space i.e. rare, urgent medical needs disease. Will also lead to significant Cost Effectiveness, Evidence generation activities 
  • Hospital/Regional formularies: Ideate and execute the best strategy to help get their drug listed at the sub-national level and work closely with our KAMs to help them delivery key value messages at key hospitals

2. Private Channel:

  • Patient (Self-pay)
  • Private Insurance: Map the coverage in each markets and how innovative co-pay models could work for both their brands in these markets

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of Market Access experience in Pharmaceutical / Healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrable experience in facilitating access pathways / reimbursement status for rare disease drugs, preferably in the onco-hematology disease area
  • Extensive experience with relevant local HTA processes and governing bodies
  • Bachelor's / Master’s Degree in any Science, Medicine, or Public Health
  • Strong team player with high level of resilience   
  • Strong collaborator and able to build networks across a complex business   
  • Attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities      
  • Prior experience in managing delivery of patient support or market access projects   
  • Ability to work creatively in a fast paced environment maintaining flexibility and changing priorities to meeting demanding timelines 
  • Strong organizational, planning, project management and logistics skills.   
  • Strong software and computer skills, including MS Office applications.   
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients   
  • Familiarity with relevant industry and legislative codes of conduct.
