Dedicated On-Site Strategic Relationship Manager for top 10 Pharma customer.  Lead early engagement activities related to protocol/pipeline review to ensure successful, on time launch of all clinical trials.  Manage study budget and contract processes.  Develop and maintain relationships. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organizations to ensure excellent delivery and consistency within programs, including implementation of best practices and driving client specific performance improvement projects.
  • Manage strategic customer relationship across all therapeutic areas and Phases of drug development
  • Review protocols prior to finalization and provide input on cost and efficiency savings
  • Serve as the face of the customer within Q² Solutions to ensure all stakeholders understand key customer requirements, provide service delivery excellence, achieve all customer milestones and develop/implement new services as required
  • Serve as point of escalation for unresolved customer concerns
  • Manage process to allow for timely completion of budgets and contracts
  • Achieve revenue, bookings, and profitability targets
  • Respond to all RFI/RFP requests and manage bid defense preparation and presentation
  • Act as point person/facilitator for joint process initiatives
  • Establish and ensure open communication channels with third parties

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of Pharma drug development process.

  • Excellent ability to communicate clearly within a global environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
  • Bachelor's degree in science related field and minimum 7 years of clinical or research industry experience, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience  
  • Post-graduate degree preferred
  • Previous pharmaceutical (or related) R&D experience required.
  • Must have basic knowledge of laboratory testing or have worked in a laboratory setting.
  • Strategic thinking, fostering open communication, and using sound judgment are all core competencies required in this position.
  • Demonstrated project management, time management, customer service and negotiation skills required.
  • Occasional lifting of objects up to 20 pounds
  • Occasional domestic and international travel
  • Extensive use of telephone and face-­to­-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech
  • Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers Regular sitting for extended periods of time
