Flow Cytometry Scientist (Flow Cytometry Operational Lead)

  • Manages flow cytometry data generation across all global laboratories to ensure on-time data delivery.
  • Addresses client flow cytometry queries during telephone/face to face interactions.
  • Coordinates new requests and new study/assay launches globally.
  • Functions as operational flow cytometry liaison with internal stakeholders. 
  • Performs quality data reviews and assessment of key performance indicators. 
  • Identifies opportunities for performance improvement across the flow cytometry function. 
  • Oversees raw data file provision for flow cytometry. 
  • Perform all functions as required by laboratory management.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in a health sciences field, ideally including immunology or flow cytometry.
  • Knowledge of clinical and/or research laboratory environment and quality control procedures.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and work to short deadlines.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Previous experience of client/customer facing roles.
