PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Director will be required to build a 50+ strong global inside sales force, including hiring and developing staff, considering new technologies that can assist the team and processes for success, which will then require ongoing leadership to oversee the team and their focus on outbound calling in order to achieve sales and revenue targets.

Responsibilities include

Execute activity across assigned customers to deliver against revenue goals in line with Global Market Insights strategy and report activities.

  • Establish a motivational mission and vision for the team that will assist in driving the team to become a best in class outfit
  • Build and develop a superstar sales team that can not only exceed in this team but can also move into future sales teams across the business to help IQVIA achieve our growth targets
  • Establish the annual business goals (revenue and other KPIS) for the team
  • Drive ambitious yet attainable team and individual KPI’s
  • Identify and assign the key roles and responsibilities to align to the business goals
  • Create a winning culture for the team that supports the mission
  • Ensuring we have the relevant resources in each geography
  • Ensure all teams are skilled accordingly
  • Recommend the appropriate tools needed to meet the goals and improve performance
  • Monitoring and measurement of the team against agreed KPIs
  • Build and implement a truly world class recognition and reward programme
  • Report statistical feedback on business goals and key performance drivers
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance where needs be

Experience required

  • Significant sales experience in a global organisation that has experienced exceptional growth
  • Significant and proven experience in building and maintaining best in class inside sales teams
  • Proven success in leveraging CRM’s to drive sales and effectiveness
  • B2B outward bound sales environment experience
  • Experience in establishing and leading new teams
  • Management experience of high achieving sales teams
  • Track record of not only achieving results but exceeding them
  • Strong background in building partnerships with account management and other sales teams
  • Fantastic written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to interpret and present complex concepts
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Proven ability in the use of Microsoft office, to deliver professional client communications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel and internet/phone presentations.
  • An understanding of IT infrastructure would be advantageous
