Job Description

Our team needs an experienced engineering director who is familiar with Enterprise and SaaS software in life sciences, who understands both what it takes to make a good product, and what it takes to write a good codebase.

You will be managing engineering and PM, and direct our elite squad of programming ninjas who do code audits and consulting. As a peer of the design director and research director, help drive the rollout of a new design system, and set our products teams for success.

The Director owns are primarily UI libraries that implement our application visual design system. That code needs to be rock solid. We also engage with product teams who use the libraries, and teams getting ready to use them. Those engagements will span application design, implementation, and integration, across various tech stacks. The engineering director is the voice of reason, who can tell when a project is infeasible, and prioritize work on the important projects over the urgent.
