The Technology Solutions division of IQVIA develops, markets, and implements healthcare-focused enterprise software applications to help life sciences customers drive their business from molecule to market.

Our Global training team has a direct impact on our employees, our partners, our customers, and the business by providing product, business process, general technology education, and (limited) skills training for audiences around the globe, such as but not limited to: Sales, Delivery, Partners, Client End-Users.  

Curriculum Design is the process of defining the optimal training journey, or pathway, for each audience to develop any needed knowledge bases and competencies. In this stage, we create the curriculum or program of study for skills, knowledge, processes and performance gaps for our solutions and roles.

As a Curriculum Designer on our team, you will be design the end-to-end product curriculum tailored to audience to meet needs leveraging multiple modalities. 

Specifically, you will:

  • Dive deep into designated IQVIA product offerings, such as Orchestrated Customer Engagement, Information Management, Performance Management, Compliance, Content Management, and Social Listening to develop a thorough understanding of the training needs for a designated set of audiences & products
  • Collaborate with Sales and Delivery Enablement to determine appropriate curricula and modalities to achieve learning objectives
  • Develop a scaffolded training pathway tailored to the needs of the organization
  • Specify the individual course/learning experience objectives, duration, modalities, core content, etc.
  • Leverage sales or technical accumen to design training programs that meet the specific learning needs of key audiences
  • Solicit input and source content from Subject Matter Experts (Product and Audience focus)
  • Provide Instructional Designers with clear advance guidance and subsequent feedback on course design to ensure all objectives are met
  • Define measurement strategies to assess the effectiveness of training courses
  • Refresh training curriculum for new product releases or other business events
  • Optimize training curricula over time based on program effectiveness and stakeholder feedback
  • Remain current on best practices and industry standards in curriculum design

Experience should include:

  • 5+ years experience in Training & Development with an emphasis on curriculum design
  • Expertise in instructional methods and training techniques including curriculum design principles, adult learning theory and blended learning strategies
  • Experience in a Sales and/or technical field a plus
  • Knowledge of Healthcare/Life Sciences Industry and/or SaaS Technology a plus
  • Experience in instructional design and/or delivering training instruction a plus
  • Experience developing curriculum paths based on skill requirements and training needs
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning theories and modern learner principles
  • Excellent requirements gathering / interviewing skills
  • Outstanding communications and project management skills
  • Ability to influence and indirectly manage across functional teams
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
