Job Description


Our Strategic Partners team works closely with key stakeholders in the Healthcare sector. One Important group are wholesalers and retailers who provide medicines to patients throughout the world. The team has responsibility for maintaining the relationship and extending the supply of sales data into IQVIA which forms the basis of many of our market solutions.

The Strategic Partners team comprises, data, technology and consulting experts. We have been building a new engagement model with one of our key suppliers in Europe, McKesson, based on the provision of platforms and consulting services and are looking for a Consultant based in London to join the team.


The Consultant will be dedicated to the McKesson account team in Europe (6 FTEs) and report to the Senior Director leading the relationship in Europe. The objective of the team is to build a strategic partnership across the region with McKesson, embedding IQVIA solutions and technology as well as advising senior leadership on strategic issues.


Assignments range in complexity from country analysis and problem solving to assisting in the development of more complex, regional strategic solutions. The consultant will:

  • perform quantitative or qualitative analyses to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client specific solutions.
  • support in the design/structure and completion of client presentations
  • develop, and present, complete client deliverables within known/identified or newly developed frameworks and methodologies.
  • proactively develop a good knowledge of consulting methodologies and the supply chain sector through the delivery of consulting engagements and participation in formal and informal learning opportunities.
  • manage engagements under the guidance of a Senior Director or act as a workstream lead
  • build strong relationships with the client organisation across Europe.


The aligned consultant should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals
  • knowledge of consulting methods, tools and techniques
  • knowledge of current events and developments within the pharmaceutical industry, major players, competitors and understanding of the marketplace
  • strong interest in developing knowledge in the supply chain, wholesaler, pharmacy sector
  • desire to take ownership of projects and work closely with one client – McKesson
  • willingness to travel regularly within Europe
  • understanding of IQVIA data sets especially sales data
  • demonstrable capability managing a workstream or a small project and desire to grow project management
  • effective time management skills
  • strong excel and PowerPoint skills
