Data Governance & Stewardship Services Consultant
 

Role Summary:

Serves as Lead Steward for one or more Enterprise Information Management (EIM) Services data stewardship engagements by overseeing and allocating the work of the stewardship team, compiling metrics and reports to monitor and measure SLA’s and Performance, and ensuring the timely completion of deliverables within the contracted SLA’s. Develops SOP’s, Work Instructions and Process flows for stewardship engagements. Builds, establishes and maintains positive relationships with clients and serves as their day-to-day contact. The Consultant will support the delivery of strategy projects, including but not limited to Data Governance, Data Quality, and Process Optimization.


Role Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Minimum of three to four (3-4) years of related work experience
  • Knowledge and experience with pharmaceutical commercial sales operations and related capabilities (MDM, CRM, etc.)
  • Knowledge of IQVIA One Key/HCRS data, or related commercial products
  • Demonstrated experience with Data Stewardship services 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Visio
  • Experience with SQL
  • Demonstrated project leadership skills
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively
  • Ability to proactively identify client need and translate into a solution
  • Demonstrated expert customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Consulting or client engagement experience is preferred
  • Must be able to work at a client site 3-5 days per week depending on the engagement type and location, with overnight travel

Responsibilities:

  • Under the supervisor of the Engagement Manager, the Consultant serves as lead data steward for one or more data stewardship engagements
  • Mentors and leads data stewards by overseeing and allocating the work of the stewardship team
  • Compiles metrics and reports to monitor and measure SLA’s and performance
  • Develops and maintains SOP’s, Work Instructions and Process flows for stewardship engagements
  • Ensures, through review and verification, that the product deliverable meets the customer's specifications, including timeliness and quality
  • Ensures ongoing client satisfaction through fulfillment of contracted SLA’s and timely follow-up
  • Builds, establishes and maintains positive relationships with clients and serves as their day-to-day contact. 
  • Conducts client status meetings on a regular basis 
  • Researches, analyzes and responds to client data inquiries that may be moderately difficult or complex and non-routine (ex., develop/execute SQL queries, build Excel pivot tables and/or macros, etc.)
  • Supports the delivery of strategy projects, including but not limited to Data Governance, Data Quality, and Process Optimization
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and/or optimization within current engagement(s) to better manage costs, improve throughput, and/or improve client/steward satisfaction
