Overview

STI requires an experienced French Bilingual specialist who will provide content development to support the organization in various capacities including, but not exclusive to messaging/copy for sales collateral's, customer and STI product/program promotional assets, training materials and content/editorial support for client RFP responses. Programs are most often customized to the client therefore require unique copy development capabilities. It is essential for the Communications Specialist to have a solid understanding of the unique value proposition of each program to effectively promote and communicate key messaging to key stakeholders and related audiences.

This role works closely with the technology team in developing content for digital assets while supporting our sales team in developing and providing quality assurance on sales materials (presentations, pitch decks, requests for proposals, sales aids, pricing and product descriptions). The Communications Specialist also supports external relations and aids in the development of corporate communication on a variety of initiatives.

As part of the Marketing Team, the Communications Specialist manages and develops messaging to aid in the development of client facing materials that promote all lines of business. Owner and manager of content on our patient facing website ­–innoviCares.ca– and social media channels (Twitter, Facebook) with direct patient engagement. Digital content management also comes in the form of writing content for our patient and client facing newsletters. The Communications Specialist will, at a high level, deeply understand the nature of STI’s key audiences, plus the individuals and vehicles that best engage them.   

The Specialist will also, in a hands-on manner, strategize messaging tactics (creating, requesting, or re-purposing content as needed) and see to the distribution of the information to share the content in a timely and effective manner.

Job Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education with a minimum of 3 year’s experience in content development and in a related field
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Second language professional competency in French (particularly written) is required
