DESCRIPTION:

Clinical Analytics & Simulations (CA&S) has an exciting opportunity for a CA&S Lead within the Clinical Planning & Analytics organization. The CA&S Lead is responsible for facilitating the creation of enrollment strategies and collaborating with other groups involved in pre-award activities.  

The successful candidate will understand the factors that influence enrollment plans and be able to produce accurate and tailored strategies. The successful candidate must possess strong data analytic skills, critical thinking, communication and collaboration skills. May be responsible for some or all the following activities at any one time.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the delivery of accurate and robust enrollment strategies in support of opportunities (including but not limited to Requests for Proposals, awards and re-bids) Ensure IQVIA Clinical Planning & Analytics services is providing a competitive edge in winning new business Manage the generation, analysis and interpretation of study related information to produce and recommend enrollment strategies during the pre-award bidding process. May produce summary reports and present internally or externally. Provide expert input, solid recommendations for enrollment strategies and scenario planning as required. Possess in-depth understanding of the data, methodologies and systems used to develop enrollment strategies Provide effective strategy text for inclusion in proposals and feasibility reports Support the development of materials related to enrollment strategies for customer bid defense meetings and to internal customers Maintain regular communication with staff in assigned therapeutic areas on non-project issues such as business strategy, mutual pipelines / planning performance trends across all studies Contribute to process improvements to efficiently deliver quality and consistency. Contribute with management of Business Conflicts of Interest (BCOIs) Collaborate with key stakeholders and IQVIA project teams to resolve issues and provide recommendations for solutions

Bachelor's degree in life sciences, public health, statistics, business or related field with 3-5 yrs. of relevant experience, including demonstrable experience in an international role and experience or exposure to health and/or data science; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Master’s degree preferred.

  • In depth knowledge of the drug development processes across all functional areas
  • Skilled at facilitation and meeting management especially running global conference calls
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to quickly and accurately understand, access, and analyze data from divergent sources to provide an assimilation of data leading to conclusions and recommendations of enrollment planning

  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in aspects of data analysis and presentation software, Microsoft Word, Excel and databases

  • Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech
  • Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers
  • Regular sitting for extended periods of time
  • May require occasional flexibility with working hours to accommodate global meetings
